Data deletion

smik.ai respects your right to erasure. Below is how to request deletion of the data tied to your connected accounts.

Via Facebook / Instagram

Remove the smik.ai app in your Facebook settings (Settings → Apps and Websites) or Instagram. Meta automatically notifies us; we then revoke your account's access tokens and delete its personal data and files. You will receive a confirmation code.

By request

You can also email support@smik.ai with the subject “Data deletion”, listing the connected accounts. We will process the request and confirm the deletion.

What is deleted

Access tokens are revoked immediately; personal data and uploaded files tied to the account are deleted. As permitted by law we retain an anonymized proof of deletion (a hash), but not the data itself.
